
How many times have you heard, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day?"
But, have you ever really thought about why it is the most important meal? It certainly gets your body moving and heightens you mentally. It also gives you the whole day to burn off the calories you consumed. But, maybe it goes a little bit deeper than that.
It's a long period of time from breakfast to lunch...a lot of hours to make smart choices. If your body needs nutrition in the morning to get up and go and you don't feed it right at the start, what happens? You fight cravings all morning long ... and the more you fight cravings, the higher the probability tht you are going to lose your battle at one time or another.
So, start your day off right with a good breakfast. Have healthy portable food ready that you can take with you on the road ... a banana, a carton of yogurt, an apple, a bar.
Jump start your body, not your cravings.
